IT Support Specialist


  • Serving as helpdesk to troubleshoot technical issues by performing analysis and implementing corrective action
  • Ensuring all conference rooms are set up with appropriate working equipment before all meetings
  • Directly and/or via telephone providing support for laptops, enterprise desktops in a Mac/PC environment
  • Ensuring timely follow up communications and status updates to users and IT manager
  • Aiding in conducting research of new/emerging software/hardware to provide future efficiencies
  • Assisting the Engineering team with programming needs as necessary


  • 1 year of IT support/help desk experience providing level I and II troubleshooting with both Mac and PC systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of both Mac and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with email and calendaring solutions with an emphasis on Google Apps for Work
  • Substantial understanding of web conferencing tools such as Google Hangouts, Webex, etc
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
  • Solid customer service skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Experience with peripheral devices (such as printers, fax machines, copiers, PBX, A/V systems, etc)
  • General knowledge of languages such as Java, Python, etc is a plus
